History
Porsche was founded in 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche in Stuttgart, Germany.
In the early years, the company focused on engineering and designing cars for other brands.
In 1948, Porsche introduced its first official sports car: the Porsche 356. This model marked the beginning of Porsche as a true sports car manufacturer.
During the 1960s, the legendary Porsche 911 was created. With its unique design and rear-engine layout, it became one of the most iconic sports cars in the world and still remains the heart of the brand today.
In the following decades, Porsche expanded with new models like the Cayenne, Panamera, and Macan, showing that performance can exist in both sports cars and luxury vehicles.
In 2019, Porsche entered a new era with the Taycan, its first fully electric car, combining sustainability with extreme performance.
